The Pallu portion of warp is tie &dyed, so that the body colour will never enter the tied portion. The art of weaving the pallu of saree is known as “Porai technique” and visiri madippu of the finished saree is the uniqueness of Thirubuvanam saree. Pure silver zari is used in the saree. By using Zari thread motifs with predominance all over saree is called “Jangala” Sarees. -|- -|-
